Went there on December 31st. We actually went on December 25th thought they have food but that day kitchen was closed and only alcohol. So we decided to go again on the 31st because it says karaoke. We went in and the owner maybe or worker he remembered us from 25th when we visited. This time we only ordered drinks and not food as we had dinner. I order Guinness stout. It was good and there were people singing karaoke which was fun. Overall it's a nice place to chill and hangout .

Perfect spot to end the evening it was a cute little bar where the boo thing and I grabbed some drinks after spending time at the beach Bartender was chill and friendly and NOT stingy with the booze. We had old fashions and Manhattans and I was nicely buzzed when I left Next time I'll check out the foodie menu so stay tuned..

We ate lunch outside, under a canopy surrounded by a creative boundary marking off the new dining space from the parking lot. There were misters and being close to the beach, sitting outside was perfect and preferable over sitting inside, even if it were available. Order the pastrami sandwich. Even a half is big, so sharing was suggested to us by the couple who told the waitress when she came to check on their empty plates they 'didn't like it.' I asked what they didn't like. They were right. We both inhaled our halves and the onion rings and the two Modelo's. The perfect lunch. The staff was masked and doing a great job, as always! Stay Safe and Cover Your Face! And please, support local and small businesses. They're what make home - and our time away from home - so special ;) xoxo

My boyfriend and I came here for a lunch date. He got a groupon $12 for $30, which was a great deal! It was only good for lunch time. Luckily, we arrive before the end of lunch and they were able to honor the groupon. We both got some beers while we checked out the menu. I had the Jamaican red ale, while my boyfriend had the black market Neopolitan IPA. The red was okay, but the neopolitan was very tasty! Not that hoppy. We both really liked it. The guy who helped us recommended the Famous Patrami (Fuhgeddaboutdit). My boyfriend ordered it and LOVED it. I had the BBQ burger and thought it was delicious as well. We both really enjoyed the food. The prices of the entrees were a bit on the pricey side, but the quality was pretty good. Great place for a date! They have live music sometimes too. We saw the band setting up, but left before they started playing. Looks like a great place to come hang out and drink.

I love sitting by the beach, chomping on delicious fish&chips and clam chowder. The fish tasted super fresh, moist with a light crispy batter. Their fries were drizzled with pesto garlic and felt perfectly crispy. The clam chowder was loaded with clams. The broth was just thick enough to hold all the ingredients together without turning clumpy. The location is next to a gas station, facing Pacific Coast Highway, behind the bike path. For any cyclists passing by, Brix makes a terrific lunch break. This place was deserted during lunchtime on a weekday. My server/cashier was super nice to talk to and seemed to really enjoy working here. Negative reviews seem to focus on busy evenings when customer needs overwhelm staff.
